In the Beginning
We learned that God made the world and everything in it–and God’s greatest creation is you!
SuperTruth: I will honor God as my Creator and obey His Word.
SuperVerse: “You will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God.” Deuteronomy 28:2(NLT)
God’s desire was to bless Adam and Eve. Everything He created in the Garden of Eden was for their pleasure. In this verse, we find out that God wants to bless us also when we are obedient to Him! God loves us and wants only the best for us. When we obey God’s word, His blessings and favor are released in our lives and follow us wherever we go and whatever we do!

What is one way you can do what is right at home? If someone tells you not to do eat candy before bed, but you do it anyway, is that doing the right thing? No! We can do what is right by listening and obeying those who love and care for us. If you see someone in your family and they are really sad, how can you do what is right? When you pray, be sure to ask God to help you always do the right thing.
